The Health Gurus of HereticonNov 23
a closer look at the state of âhealth twitter,â as framed by the recent discussions of two prominent authorities at the worldâs greatest conference for heretics

I am one of a growing number of white, English and European males that are becoming increasingly disillusioned with the overbearing, capitalist excesses of Western civilisation [...] This why the lifestyle of a conservative muslimah is so appealing to us. These beautiful women are modest, elegant, spiritual and serene [...] we wish to emulate them and have at the very least, the chance to revert to Islam and to experience life as they do.
â âYazmeen Husseinâ of the Muslim New World Order fetish community
---
Over the past three generations, over 30 million Muslims have migrated to Europe and America, most of them very recently1. On both sides of the Atlantic, this rapid demographic change has led to a resurgence of right-wing populism, culture clashes, and terrorism. The left, for its part, has often had to choose between its dueling values of multiculturalism and social progressivism, a phenomenon I observed in my recent article on the conflict between LGBT activists and the all-Muslim city council of Hamtramck, Michigan. Since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war last month, anti-Zionism, once a phenomenon largely confined to the left-wing intelligentsia and a few Ultra-Orthodox Jewish sects, has exploded onto the scene through protests and posting wars, becoming part of the national political conversation in a way that would have seemed unimaginable ten or twenty years ago. Backlash to Bidenâs response has caused support for the President to tank among Arab-Americans, threatening his re-election chances in swing states like Michigan. While some in the West have embraced the new Muslim arrivals, it's made others anxious, angry and pessimistic about the future of our country.
Itâs also made still others horny. This article is about them.
Alexa, a transwoman from Oregon, stands in front of a bathroom mirror. Behind her, piles of dirty clothes, brown leather boots, and a red wig. Her head, slightly cocked, is tightly wrapped in a black hijab. She takes a selfie, and posts it online with the caption:
âWould you make a Muslimah out of me?â
Alexa belongs to an online fetish community which revolves around what it calls the Muslim New World Order â MNWO for short. The central conceit of the MNWO âmovementâ (as itâs called in the community) is a sexual fantasy in which white men are replaced by Muslim men through a process of demographic replacement, sissification, and Islamification.
Some of the movementâs men are cucks, some are crossdressers, and others identify as trans women. Despite all their fantasies about being dominated by swarthy foreigners, virtually none of them are exclusively homosexual. The (allegedly) Muslim men who appear in the porn that circulates around this community are largely faceless. Typically, the cameraâs focus is squarely on women, transwomen, and crossdressers. MNWO âsupportersâ (the term they use for themselves) arenât drawn to Muslim men in the way a gay man who is particularly attracted to men with the âArab lookâ might be. Instead, MNWO supportersâ interest in men seems to come from a fixation on submission.
One MNWO supporter I spoke to from the Czech Republic told me his journey into the movement began when he was in a cuckold relationship with a (now) ex-girlfriend, and started âservingâ the young man she was sleeping with. He now identifies as a âpussy-free whiteboiâ and crossdresser. In many ways, the MNWO subculture can be regarded as a form of sissy porn, which eroticizes the idea of male feminization.
MNWO is also part race-play. Islam is a religion, but in the MNWO subculture, itâs treated as a race, or, at least, a handful of races. Africans, Turks, Arabs, and Pakistanis all play into the fantasy, but men from other heavily Muslim ethnicities are often excluded. For example, men from Indonesia â the worldâs largest Muslim country â are completely and conspicuously absent. The âMuslim manâ exists in the mind of the Western MNWO supporter as a projection (Iâll spare you a quote from Saidâs Orientalism). He is the âideaâ of a Muslim man and he can be several races, but not East Asian, because East Asian men have been popularly stereotyped as Kpop androgynes and asexual nerds, not sexually lascivious Wahabis. It is also particularly telling that in the MNWO community there is a tremendous overlap in âsupportâ for the âBlack New World Orderâ â a similar (and larger) raceplay fetish community. I suspect this overlap originated in Europe, where black skin is more synonymous with both immigration and Islam than it is in the United States. Nevertheless, it's been adopted by some American MNWO supporters as well, despite the fact that black Americans are, by and large, Protestant Christians who have lived in the country for over 300 years.
When I asked Alexa what the appeal of the subculture was, she told me that she started wearing a niqab early in her transition when she still had a beard and wanted to hide it, but said, âFor others, I think itâs the whole idealization of ridding the world of white males specifically, or having them just to feminize them.âÂ
When I asked whether this was a âsubmissive or political thing,â she simply replied âBoth.â
Noticing the Islamic crescent and rose emojis in her bio â the rose being a symbol commonly used by democratic socialists and social democrats â I asked Alexa about her own political and religious beliefs. She said, â[My] personal religion is mainly Christian but kind of working through some things/exploring different cultures across the world and politically I identify as a centrist that leans progressive.âÂ
What is one to make of a rose-emoji-using âprogressive leaning centristâ from Oregon participating in an Islamic raceplay fetish community? A right-winger might chalk it up to white guilt gone amuck. Fair enough. The MNWO fantasy, after all, revolves around the elimination and feminization of white men explicitly, and if the Summer of Floyd proved anything, itâs that white progressives have a penchant for masochistic theater, from knee-bending to self-flagellation. The fetish fits in nicely with a political progressive paradigm which casts whites, particularly âcis white men,â as villains to be defeated. Perhaps a bit too nicely. All fetish comes from transgression, and I deeply suspect that part of MNWOs appeal is not anti-racism (which has come to mean anti-white male in our contemporary culture) but rather, racism. The image of Muslim men the MNWO subculture cultivates of Muslim men â misogynistic, sexually domineering great-replacers who want to dominate and subjugate whites â is virtually indistinguishable from the sort of characterizations of Muslim men that one might have found on Stormfront circa 2016. By embracing this racist caricature not merely as true, but also ideal, they find transgression against both liberal multicultural niceties and feminism.
Moreover, the qualities that MNWO supporters see in Muslim men â virility, traditionalism, authoritarianism, and unapologetic masculinity â are qualities they often perceive as lacking in themselves. To become a âmale Muslimahâ is to quit trying, to escape the expectations of Western masculinity, which they find impossible. Some have said as much. A MNWO mini-manifesto posted on Twitter, notably non-sexual and sincere in its tone, begins with the following:Â
I am one of a growing number of white, English and European males that are becoming increasingly disillusioned with the overbearing, capitalist excesses of western civilisation and the way we are all expected to behave as macho, beer-swilling, womanisers to fit in with societyâs stereotypical view of a traditional red-blooded male. Many â including myself â are seeking a much simpler life â away from the stress that our expected lifestyle dictates.
Though the MNWO phenomenon is incredibly racialized, Islam as a religion still plays a role in the subculture, distinguishing it from other race-play fetishes. The word Islam literally means âsubmissionâ in Arabic. The erotic implications of this etymology have not been lost on Western critics of Islam. In Theo van Goughâs 2004 short film Submission, a veiled woman tells stories of physical and sexual abuse committed by Muslim men against women, with the Quranic verses used to justify the abuse written in Arabic on her naked body. (Van Gough was assassinated by an Islamist shortly after the filmâs release.) Similarly, Michel Houellebecqâs 2015 novel Submission, which follows the life of a depressed and sexually frustrated French professor after a Socialist-party-enabled Islamist takeover of France, can easily be read as a cuckold story. Indeed, in the end, the professor is ready to âsubmitâ and convert to Islam in pursuit of better career prospects and wives selected for him in a newly Islamified France. For MNWO supporters, the cuckoldry of the West and the religiously sanctioned domination of women are not eroticized for satirical or polemical purposes, as is the case for van Gogh and Houellebecq. For them, submission is a source of psychosexual liberation. For MNWO supporters, the erotic is not ironic.Â
Itâs worth wondering what actual Muslim men think about this. There is a subset of Muslim men who participate in the MNWO subculture, mostly tranny chasers and opportunistic cash masters offering to degrade the hijabi sissies and/or fuck their wives and girlfriends. Only a few are willing to post their faces online. The cross dressers seem to enjoy the attention and validation â Alexa told me she did â but she also said she got a lot attention from other MNWO sissies. Looking through the comments, the white guys and trans women donning burkas seem just as, if not more, interested in themselves and eachother than the Muslim men they claim to worship. Such is the case with autogynephilic fetishes. Blanchardâs transexual taxonomy, which draws a distinction between straight and bisexual âautogynephilesâ and effeminate homosexual men who transition is only regarded as âcontroversialâ because it is politically inconvenient. Where activists lie, pornography, the last refuge of human honesty on the trans issue, does not. In any case, the anonymous Muslim tranny chasers trolling the comments of MNWO supporters might be disappointed to learn that a lot of their little âMuslimahsâ arenât physically attracted to them â or any men â at all.
Tough break.
So what lies ahead for the transexual hijabis welcoming the Muslim New World Order? The manifesto above, which I ran across several times during my research (and quoted earlier), suggests it might be something of a trans hijabi liberation movement. People âcoming outâ publicly as trans and crossdresser âMuslimahs.â Perhaps in the future, your cousin will come home for Thanksgiving in a full burka and youâll watch the light leave your grandfatherâs eyes as he says, voice muffled beneath the veil, âActually, PeePaw, it's Fatima now.â Perhaps they will demand halal options at those lesbian events trans women keep inviting themselves to. Maybe your boss will start dressing like the third wife of a Saudi prince and everyone will have to have a meeting about it. America in the 21st century would probably accept that. A âMuslim New World Order?â Doubt it.Â
